Her speech was certainly blessed, getting even Meryl Streep to cheer for gender wage equality. Maybe it helped that she also whispered “Jesus” right before she made her speech.

The Senate is locked in a stalemate over the Department of Homeland Security funding bill because of immigration amendments that the House attached to the bill last month. If the bill doesn't pass the Senate, the Department of Homeland Security will run out of money on Friday.
Just like previous scenarios regarding budgets, including the debt ceiling, fed. govt. shutdown, etc....this bill will pass by Friday. However, that may not be the case in the future.
