A DOLLAR COLLAPSE WOULD BE CATASTROPHIC AND IT IS INEVITABLE

"In the event that non-United States holders of dollar-denominated assets decided to shift holdings to assets denominated in other currencies, there could be serious consequences for the U.S. economy."

Nations like China and Japan which possess much US DEBT in their pocket are probably just waiting for the dollar to devalue enough before doing this. Right now, the $ hasn't lost enough value to cause such a move to take place. But at the current rate by which paper is being printed to afford "bailouts", we should get there sooner than we think. A war for example, would increase such odds hundredfold!
