clashes, protests, revolts...

After watching the History channel's "the rise of the third reich"...i gather the following:

1- Hitler preached change and unity.
2- Hitler manipulated the direction of the country when parliament was burned down.
3- Hitler exterminated jews and those whom the nazis deemed inferior.
4- No one who wanted to live opposed the nazis.
5- Germany had a pledge of allegiance to Hitler since it was Hitler who was deemed responsible for the new unified Germany.

It appears unity can be a dangerous, misleading tool.
