During his typically self-deprecating White House Correspondent's
Dinner speech on Saturday, President Barack Obama joked that his planned
use of executive actions would put him on par with King Joffrey.
He is always joking. And fittingly, since he is the the king of cynics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_foHVx_GTy4
"This
year I have promised to use more executive actions to get things done
without Congress," Obama said. "My critics call this the imperial
presidency. The truth is, every day I show up at my office and do my
job. We have a picture of this I think?"
The screen then flashed
to a photo of Obama sitting in the Oval Office on the Iron Throne from
HBO's "Game of Thrones." A crossbow sits on the table in front of him in
an apparent nod to the show's much-loathed villain, King Joffrey and he is holding a crown on his lap...
And I saw, and behold a
white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given
unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
It is no surprise that BO is BOLD. “The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place."
One can argue that he mocks Revelation 6 suggesting that he embraces his role; after all, he is a mocker. https://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_882936&feature=iv&src_vid=maSgfeE5pjw&v=Hi-V_ilJu0w
He circumvents reality by using sarcasm but only his sympathizers laugh. Are their names written on the Lamb's Book of Life?
