The Dow got a boost today from a surprise interest rate cut from China’s central bank and fresh signs from European Central Bank chief Mario Draghi that more stimulus is in the pipeline for the ailing eurozone economy. The 30-stock Dow notched its 27th record close of 2014 on Thursday, closing at 17,190.27.

Obama will use a Thursday speech to roll out new executive orders that could grant legal status to millions of migrants now in the country illegally, officials said Wednesday.
"What I'm going to be laying out is the things that I can do, with my lawful authority as president, to make the system work better — even as I continue to work with Congress and encourage them to get a bipartisan, comprehensive bill that can solve the entire problem."
Lawful or unlawful...EO after EO....I expect the urgency of these EO's to pick-up..

JERUSALEM — At least four worshippers were killed in an attack on a west Jerusalem synagogue Tuesday by two Palestinians wielding a gun, an ax and a meat cleaver, police said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel will "respond harshly" to the attack. He said the international community "irresponsibly ignores" Arab attacks on Jews around the world and said "the cruel murder of Jews who came to pray and were caught by dark, murderous hands" would not go unpunished. Netanyahu called an emergency meeting of his Security Cabinet.
And Big Ben usually means what he says....34 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 35 Look, your house is left to you desolate.
