Selected spots in Europe on Friday experienced a total solar eclipse, one of three celestial events taking place.

The other two events are a so-called supermoon, and the spring equinox.

This week, 2 major U.S. allies – 2 of the “Five Eyes” – have disregarded American pleas and joined China’s new development bank … alternative to the US-dominated IMF and World Bank lending order. (A third member of the Five Eyes – New Zealand – previously signed onto the Chinese bank.)

The Financial Times now reports that France, Germany and Italy have all agreed to join the China-led international development bank as well, “delivering a blow to US efforts to keep leading western countries out of the new institution.”

The Chinese will deal the final-blow at the right time...some time in the near-future, before 2018.

WASHINGTON — House Republicans will unveil a 10-year budget blueprint Tuesday that they say will cut $5.5 trillion in spending and help create a budget surplus by 2026.

HA. Kinda late for that....by 2020 the US will be a nuked wasteland.

"These reductions are hardly draconian," states the budget blueprint drafted by Budget Chairman Tom Price, R-Ga., who took the helm of the panel at the start of the new Congress in January. "Washington cannot keep spending money it does not have."

Wow. That's a profound truth.
