In slightly less than four months, President Barack Obama will be without a job....
LOL. Naw. I dont think the Anti-Christ would go from presidential status to....bum status.
It's more likely that he has another job lined up.
Rumors are swirling that Obama is already lobbying to take the job of United Nations Secretary-General when Ban Ki-moon's final five-year term expires on Dec. 31.
For now....just rumors. But I think it's pretty coincidental that Ban Ki- MOON's term ends on the same year that Bo's does...
For starters, the process of replacing Ban is already well underway with 10 candidates—mainly from Eastern European nations—under consideration. The U.N. Security Council, which is required by Article 97 of the U.N. Charter to make the appointment of a successor, is already holding straw votes...
And how exactly would that stop Satan's son from just stepping in because...he can or because wants to? He's already been sidestepping laws in Babylon...
Remember:
"He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does." Daniel 8:24
Throwing President Obama into the mix would not just ruffle a lot of feathers,
LOL! Im sure it would....but it's funnier that we are even talking about it if it were to be truly so far-fetched.
it would require some unprecedented maneuvers,
AS IF, unprecedented maneuvers haven't taken place before. In fact, a LOT of UNPRECEDENTED STUFF is gonna happen these next few months. I mean, it will be unprecedentedville from here on out, guaranteed.
both at the U.N. Headquarters in New York City and in Washington, D.C. While it's not a written rule, it has been the longstanding custom that the U.N. Secretary-General should not be the citizen of a country that is a permanent member of the council: the U.S., Russia, China, France, and the United Kingdom.
LOL. Oh, wait? Would he dare renounce his "citizenship" at THAT time?
Additionally, General Assembly resolution 51/241, adopted in 1997, stated that the appointment of a new Secretary-General must be done by taking into account a candidate's region and gender. Of the eight secretaries-general so far, none have been women,
and none will.
and none have come from Eastern Europe, Australia/Oceania, or North America/Latin America.
Oh. Wait. He's from North America. At least on paper.
So what? There would have to be a few exceptions in order to let him hold the position of World President at a time when that matters...I can't think of something more appropriate. It would just make the "lawless one" seem like....HE'S ABOVE THE LAW! HAHAHA
Even if an Obama candidacy overcame those hurdles,
again....at least SOMEONE has been entertaining this possibility...there's the fact that Ban's term ends 21 days before Obama's term as president ends.
That's not much of a hurdle really.
Although there is precedent for the position to remain vacant for an extended period of time—particularly during the Cold War when the U.S. and Soviet Union often failed to agree on a candidate—the last four secretaries-generals' terms began immediately at the conclusion of their predecessors'.
Well...maybe something unprecedented will take place. :p
For that to happen, Obama would have to resign the presidency in order to take the new job, which would make Vice President Joe Biden the 45th President of the United States—albeit for just three weeks—until the winner of November's general election could be sworn in on the constitutionally-appointed date.
If that were to happen, do you honestly think BO would care what happens, or who happens in Babylon? Really? The guy would go from USA president to USW president and you think he would care what happens in the former?
I would not be surprised if Barack Hussein Obama were to become UN Secretary General.
