Iran's foreign ministry said airstrikes in Yemen are a "dangerous step" Thursday, after Saudi Arabia launched the strikes against Shiite rebel positions in the crisis-hit country.

The Saudi offensive launched Wednesday, supported by nine regional allies, as the country pledged to protect its neighbor from Iran-backed Shiite rebels.

The Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya network has reported that Saudi Arabia has also deployed 150,000 troops and 100 fighter jets.

That is a considerable amount of troops....

With 1.4 billion users, the social media site has become a vital source of traffic for publishers looking to reach an increasingly fragmented audience glued to smartphones. In recent months, Facebook has been quietly holding talks with at least half a dozen media companies about hosting their content inside Facebook rather than making users tap a link to go to an external site.

The company doesn’t want people to leave their site ever — for any reason. Hence the aggressive push to carry outside news content, and create a better positioned alternative web centrally controlled by it.

This move would consolidate the internet thus making it easier to control. One day, it will become the official channel of the State

WASHINGTON — The violence that drove U.S. advisers from Yemen, once a key U.S. counterterrorism partner, is the latest in a string of regional victories for Iran.

Iran "will emerge, whether we like it or not, as the central power in their sphere," said Aaron David Miller, an analyst at the Wilson Center and former State Department official.

And this may embolden the Iranians all the more....

So it really does seem people love the pope just as much-if not more-than people loved Bo while he was running for president...

For now, Pope Francis remains at the helm of the Catholic Church, and as millions wait to see what he’ll do next, after watching this video, you’ll be able to say, “Now I get it.”

Couric goes as far as suggesting the world is "fascinated" with Francis.

What will he do next? I could venture a guess at what will be his biggest feat...

I think Francis will unite all of the world's religions and universalism will be declared the world's religion.

He will also be a co-signer for BO once BO becomes world president.

BUT....it all remains to be seen.
