And I saw that all labor and all achievement spring from man’s envy of his neighbor...
and the Joneses will be the Joneses. They buy and build, sell and tear down because their desire is to outdo their neighbors who themselves are trying to outdo them. And so goes the same ol' tired process and the same ol' way of thinking...
They do everything they do because they think, they want, and they ARE better than you. Everything revolves around the "who's better"...no matter the subject. And whatever it is you're the best at, is the one subject and/or thing you always want to engage in. O, the futility of life and the rationale that comes with it! We are animals! That's it. Nothing but a bunch of animals. Howbeit that we do the same things a dog does? We eat. They eat. We drink, they drink. We dump, they dump. We piss, they piss. We do the deed, they do deed. And yet man still stands to subdue all creation, a design of God.
The only thing a man gets from being better than the next is a feeding of his pride. Who builds and buys for a reason other than the one Solomon mentions? And even when that takes place, man still finds misery behind the idea that comes from not being the best. Truly, godliness with contentment is great gain and a gift from God. Besides that, man is left to that same old circuitous thinking, a chasing after the wind. When does he ever catch it? Lol....HE NEVER DOES.
The world...an endless race, the everlasting competition, neverending. And we don't get tired of the same game. Who's prettier, who's richer, who's stronger, who's smarter...whoever is prettier isn't stronger, and whoever is richer isn't smarter, and who's wronger? Not the one who has all of these and yet discovers that happiness and contentment are from God, the same one who takes from one and gives to the other who will later give it to yet another. The audacity of man to think God has left HIS creation to chance. HALLELUJAH! Praise be to the Most High God! Maker of heaven and earth! How awesome your deeds and majestic your ways! Everything you do is perfect. Not a thing undone unless you undid it. Creator of earth and every moment in it.
And how dare you o man, question the power and sovereignty of God? How can dust speak? How dare we try to subject God to the laws He has subjected US to? LOL! How dare we try to engage God in matters of earth using arguments of earth?! DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHO GOD IS!? HAVE YOU ANY IDEA!? OF COURSE NOT. That's why He allows us to wander around in our minisculeness...we small. Truly, a heavy burden it is to try and begin fathoming the Most High. We small. Too small. But if we recognize that, He reveals Himself to us, allowing us to become and have more of Him. Is there anything more important or that makes more sense than to be more like God? His eternity drips on us and when it does, all else is irrelevant. WHO CAN ARGUE THAT? LOL. What a task my Lord! LOL. How can I begin to come near you in this dogness!? LOL. It's almost exasperating....save the hope YOU give me. I wish that the day of transformation would come fast...but then im left to consider that You still have plans yet unraveling...im almost at a loss...I long for a new body yet I long to see what You have in mind. What a treat to see your plan unfold...
Does perfection not entail the complete and total exiting of the world? Does it not mean operating in a separate realm? Is it anything less than being engulfed and walking in the Spirit? Does it not include the resentment of others operating in the world? Does it exclude the bitterness of the enemy? Does it not subject the flesh to ITS desires?
Competition is left for those of us who have yet to fully grasp that there is only one winner. We compete because we have not realized that in spite of all our efforts to outdo our neighbors, we ourselves have been outdone by the winner, bickering like losers unaware of who it is all about. We want glory, but it's all His. Get used to it. Get over it. Embrace it. Love it. Live it.

1 The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground. 2 “My lords,” he said, “please turn aside to your servant’s house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning.”
“No,” they answered, “we will spend the night in the square.”
3 But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate. 4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house. 5 They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”
6 Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him 7 and said, “No, my friends. Don’t do this wicked thing. 8 Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don’t do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof.”
9 “Get out of our way,” they replied. And they said, “This fellow came here as an alien, and now he wants to play the judge! We’ll treat you worse than them.” They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door.
10 But the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house and shut the door. 11 Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, young and old, with blindness so that they could not find the door.
12 The two men said to Lot, “Do you have anyone else here—sons-in-law, sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here, 13 because we are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the LORD against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it.”
14 So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry[a] his daughters. He said, “Hurry and get out of this place, because the LORD is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.
15 With the coming of dawn, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Hurry! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away when the city is punished.”
16 When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the LORD was merciful to them. 17 As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, “Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!”
18 But Lot said to them, “No, my lords,[b] please! 19 Your[c] servant has found favor in your[d] eyes, and you[e] have shown great kindness to me in sparing my life. But I can’t flee to the mountains; this disaster will overtake me, and I’ll die. 20 Look, here is a town near enough to run to, and it is small. Let me flee to it—it is very small, isn’t it? Then my life will be spared.”
21 He said to him, “Very well, I will grant this request too; I will not overthrow the town you speak of. 22 But flee there quickly, because I cannot do anything until you reach it.” (That is why the town was called Zoar.[f])
23 By the time Lot reached Zoar, the sun had risen over the land. 24 Then the LORD rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the LORD out of the heavens. 25 Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, including all those living in the cities—and also the vegetation in the land. 26 But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.
27 Early the next morning Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the LORD. 28 He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, toward all the land of the plain, and he saw dense smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace.
29 So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.

Far be it from you! Will not the Judge[g] of all the earth do right?”
26 The LORD said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”
27 Then Abraham spoke up again: “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, though I am nothing but dust and ashes, 28 what if the number of the righteous is five less than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city because of five people?”
“If I find forty-five there,” he said, “I will not destroy it.”
29 Once again he spoke to him, “What if only forty are found there?”
He said, “For the sake of forty, I will not do it.”
30 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak. What if only thirty can be found there?”
He answered, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”
31 Abraham said, “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, what if only twenty can be found there?”
He said, “For the sake of twenty, I will not destroy it.”
32 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?”
He answered, “For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.”
33 When the LORD had finished speaking with Abraham, he left, and Abraham returned home.

"How can the U.S. be allowed to default?" said an official at India's central bank. "We don't think this is a possibility because this could then create huge panic globally."
"It just wouldn't happen," said Barry Evans, who oversees $83 billion in fixed income assets at Manulife Asset Management. "They would pay their Treasury bills first instead of other bills. It's as simple as that."

"In any peace agreement that ends the conflict, some settlements will end up beyond Israel's borders. The precise delineation of those borders must be negotiated," Netanyahu said.
On Sunday, Obama seemed to ease Israeli anger by making clear Israel would likely be able to negotiate keeping some settlements as part of a land swap in any deal with the Palestinians.

Because if anyone did...it would remove the surprise factor from the equation.
The "nation's status as the world's reserve currency" = the dollar. And I am one of the "few" who think it will be sooner rather than later that it will happen.

Humanism
John Milton, or Satan, described himself as a humanist in the movie The Devil's Advocate. But what is a'humanist'? Wikipedia describes humanism as 'complex, given that it is used to describe or mean several things'. A humanist, plainly put, is one who loves or worships humans/creation and the ability that we, as a human race, have to make this world a better place, in essence having faith in OURSELVES. Humanists believe in positivism and in order for one to remain positive, it is necessary to remove all negativism from the horizon, including one that would incur from a mind filled with guilt for disregarding the Creator. The best way for a mind to be cleared from the guilt of idolatry/blasphemy is to simply remove the Creator or the idea thereof from the equation as opposed to trying to reconcile the two notions. It is the practice of many humanists to claim to believe in a god, but who's to say that deity isn't themselves? Since they make a job out of lying, they just add this one to their repertoire in hopes of hooking the unsuspecting 'believers' to such an attractive school of thought. How can a person's belief be validated by what a person says and does? The humanist is an intellect and a master manipulator. He has a great poker face and is able to come across as a likable individual since diplomacy is a primary concern of his. He never wants to step on your toes and since he loves mankind, he obviously wants the attention thereof. He has everyone's interests in mind and is an altruist as well as a philanthropist. He is a charitable cause himself. However, what no one is able to perceive is that behind that poker face, is someone in love with themselves, and they get pleasure out of the satisfaction that comes from being loved if not worshiped. Having things revolve around him is his primary agenda. All of his deeds are done for the glory of himself, how can he manage to stay humble? He cant. He just conceals his arrogance. He is a man always thinking about the cost, he is stingy. He asks, 'if i do this, how will it better my appearance'? It is impossible for him to do something out of the goodness of his heart because his ego has permeated his heart and taken over. He is jealous. He is a fierce competitor. This dangerous mindset is simply the manifestation of someone who opposes everything that has to do with God and even exalts himself over 'god'. He is the vainest of vain. He is the epitome and apex of narcissism. He has a fake humility that is a byproduct of simply not divulging the truth, so as not to embarass those by whom he ultimately gets his pleasure from. But who lets out a giant buahaha behind their backs.
How then, can such liars and deceivers get by in contemporary society? It should be no surprise. Darkness has permeated our society these last days, so who wants to be exposed? No one. Man preferred darkness because light exposes their evil deeds. Society today not only enjoys but demands that leaders be diplomatic and politically correct all in name of a false humility and add a touch of charisma too so that they are not perceive you as a serious actor but one who is at peace with concealment. Wisdom suggests that it begins with the fear of the Lord but man thinks that humility is humility displayed towards man first. By removing God from the equation, these individuals try to outthink one another since they can't understand God. Their biggest 'asset'-so they think- is the source of their downfall. Their pride is fed by an intelligent ego that cant stop feeding itself. Their masters are their bellies. And it is because they have the audacity not only to think they can understand the Almighty but also demand an explanation from Him that God has allowed them to maneuver themselves right into a pool of confusion. They question His sovereignty in the name of 'reason' and are envious of such power and majesty emanating from His radiance. They usually have a plan or an idea of how THEY would run things if they were god. They are masters at deceiving. They even practice how to lie. They invent ways of doing evil and not only so they approve of those who practice them! They can't stand to tell the truth even if for the reason of keeping things simple. They would prefer telling a lie only so that they would have to tell another. They rationalize each and every wrongful deed and consider sin an erroneous 'concept'. They excuse all their behaviors and refuse to bow down to a God they can't understand.
These are the qualities that would make up the leader of a world that appreciates lies. Since they have an anti christ spirit, they would certainly embrace one who stands against the Truth, the Way, and the Life....
To them, life is the most important thing and only IT deserves attention. Nothing is more valuable than life, not even Truth. And since they loved life they are given over to the delusion, or lie. They believe it because they WANT to. They will see it as the way out and will perish because of it, for the God they curse is a Just and Righteous God. This philosophy will thrive during these last days, as humans become more enamored with themselves with so much knowledge at their disposal and at their doing so they think. It is the climax of arrogance displaying itself.
Truly, what good is knowledge in the hands of a race unable to keep its extremities at bay? Truly, the forbidden fruit and its taste has materialized its bitterness these last days as knowledge has nauseated the hearts of men. It would be different if knowledge were used to stand in awe of the Most High God but it is instead used to enlarge and puff up the minds of men.

THE WORD. That which came out of God's mouth.
In the beginning, God SPOKE everything into being! He didn't BUILD anything like man has. Imagine just saying something and having it happen! That's very difficult a concept to grasp since it transcends our boundaries set by the very One in reference.
This means that God's thoughts simply BECAME, hence I AM! By His WORD, that is, by His materialized THOUGHTS, creation came into being. Oh the power of words...who can say something and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it? Man, created in the very image OF God...
But His Word wasn't enough. It wasn't enough for anyone. So then, His WORD took on flesh and bones! And that can only be fathomed by those to whom the Father has revealed it to. I can sit here and put that in many different ways and you still wouldn't get it! For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
