Current Events-Reserve Currency Alternative
Rumor has it that the IMF will announce a world reserve currency alternative on October 20th. After doing my own research, it appears to be just that, rumor. I checked the IMF page itself and such an announcement or anything closely related to it is nowhere to be found. However, I did find an interesting section on the IMF webpage.
Apparently, religion plays a role in the IMF as outlined in this section of its webpage. The word "Islamic", is used casually and nonchalantly, as if it were in use for what appears to be a long time now. It includes descriptions of how the religion views finance, what is or isn't prohibited, and uses specific terms like "sukuk"-Islamic equivalent for bonds-to add further to its advocacy thereof.

Fundamentally, as long as the economy is not collapsing, financial markets generally recover. Whatever the turn of events, JPMorgan Chase will have the capability to play its role in supporting clients and communities in the countries in which we operate.

When I worship God, I do it to please Him. What happens afterwards, whether it is happiness or anything else, is a byproduct of worshiping Him.
Osteen's words are very bold and it would be risky to suggest she is openly advocating for self-worship by way of self-contentment. However, her teaching is erroneous because she places human happiness ahead of God's Glory. And remember, Glory has Wrath and Fury as its cousins...

I completely disagree with the portion of her claim and the notion that God's "greatest joy" is our "happiness". God is pleased when we obey Him because that is both an act of Faith AND Love. Thinking that God just wants us to be "happy" is extremely dangerous because it is undoubtedly a hallway to doing our own will. IT IS VERY VERY DANGEROUS! Moreover, it is simply not scriptural. Nowhere in scripture does it say "be happy because God wants you to be happy" or "it makes God happy when we are happy"...
So, I want you to know this morning: Just do good for your own self. Do good because God wants you to be happy," Osteen continues. "When you come to church, when you worship Him, you're not doing it for God really. You're doing it for yourself, because that's what makes God happy. Amen?This, again, is severely lacking in truth. Her entire rhetoric revolves around "happiness", both from God's point of view and ours. Doing good for self because God wants me to be happy means im seeking glory for myself and that is borderline blasphemous since me, myself, and my happiness deserve more glory than God according to Osteen.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has signed a letter of application for Israel to join the China-led Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), the Israeli Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
More than 40 countries, including Australia, South Korea, Britain, France, Germany and Italy, have said they would sign up to the AIIB, with Japan and the United States the two notable absentees.
China set a March 31 deadline to become a founding member of the AIIB, an institution that could enhance Beijing's regional and global influence.
China is beginning to assert itself in the economic stage. They have said any times within the last years that they do not want the dollar as the world's reserve currency.

A new password management application called True Key from Intel Security aims to bring us closer to a password hassel-free world.
Interesting article albeit orthographically lacking...
Apparently, with this technology, YOU are your password. The app would recognize unique facial features.
However, there still appears to be several factors that would make this technology pale in comparison to an implantable RFID chip, mainly, the fact that "trusted devices", like a phone or laptop, can be damaged, lost, or stolen.
Im still betting on the RFID chip....

Iran's foreign ministry said airstrikes in Yemen are a "dangerous step" Thursday, after Saudi Arabia launched the strikes against Shiite rebel positions in the crisis-hit country.
The Saudi offensive launched Wednesday, supported by nine regional allies, as the country pledged to protect its neighbor from Iran-backed Shiite rebels.
The Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya network has reported that Saudi Arabia has also deployed 150,000 troops and 100 fighter jets.
That is a considerable amount of troops....

The company doesn’t want people to leave their site ever — for any reason. Hence the aggressive push to carry outside news content, and create a better positioned alternative web centrally controlled by it.
