I would like to share the following words of encouragement. And a big thanks to big Nate, the man who composed it...
Stay strong brother.
Seasonal Unrest
By Nate Peavy
Truly, the recent snowfall has been great and anxieties are understandably present
Caught in the windstorms of life too, can cause to be unpleasant..
Seasonal unrest, has made many of us unstable and topsy turvvy
And its a struggle getting recalibrated back on the road of our journey.
And its a struggle getting recalibrated back on the road of our journey.
The roads are still being plowed, as snow is being removed.
And for those of us receiving this poem, I pray each of us be soothed.
And for those of us receiving this poem, I pray each of us be soothed.
Be wooed by the Presence of God, even in the midst of the storm and travail.
Even when we are confined to our homes, like being in jail
Even when we are confined to our homes, like being in jail
The blizzard of 2016, had a name and its name was called "Jonas"
But we are still here and in time, each of us will triumph over this.
But we are still here and in time, each of us will triumph over this.
Praying that in this sea-son, we not forget or ignore, but see, the Son
In His seasonal unrest he was not comforted but tasted death for everyone.
In His seasonal unrest he was not comforted but tasted death for everyone.
And He endured the blizzard of the cross so that we could taste the sunshine of Spring
And eventually this will all come to an End as Jesus reigns as Lord and REIGNS as King
And eventually this will all come to an End as Jesus reigns as Lord and REIGNS as King
Even so, come Lord Jesus Come, amen.
AND AMEN! COME LORD JESUS!
