No doubt there is much celebrating among Republicans after having recaptured the Senate majority they lost in 2006, and rightly so. They won by fielding a generally solid and disciplined roster of candidates who were able to capitalize on President Obama's unpopularity and outperformed the expectations set by pre-election polls.
And now everything is set...the people will "re-like" Bo when he comes to the rescue probably after an event with a magnitude greater than 9-11 takes place...

This sent Japanese stocks soaring and the Japanese yen plunging. The yen had already fallen by about 11 percent against the dollar over the last year before this announcement, and news of the BOJ’s surprise move caused the yen to collapse to a seven year low. Essentially what the Bank of Japan has done is declare a currency war...
If you boost your exports by devaluing your currency, you take away business from someone else. And ultimately other nations start devaluing their currencies in an attempt to stay competitive. That is why they call it a currency war.
It's already having an impact in surrounding economies as shares of auto makers Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors fell 5.9% and 5.6%, respectively, on Monday.

On Monday, Japan said its economy contracted at a real annual rate of 1.6% in July-September, a second straight quarterly decline that returned the country to recession.

Just before the financial crisis hit, Wells Fargo & Co. had $609 billion in assets. Now it has $1.4 trillion. Bank of America Corp. had $1.7 trillion in assets. That’s up to $2.1 trillion.And the assets of JPMorgan Chase & Co., the nation’s biggest bank, have ballooned to $2.4 trillion from $1.8 trillion.
At the same time that those banks have been getting bigger, 1,400 smaller banks have completely disappeared from the banking industry.
That means that we are now more dependent on these gigantic banks than ever.
At this point, the five largest banks account for 42 percent of all loans in the United States, and the six largest banks account for 67 percentof all assets in our financial system.
If someone came along and zapped those banks out of existence, our economy would totally collapse overnight.
They have transformed Wall Street into the largest casino in the history of the world. Most of the time, their bets pay off and they make lots of money.

He said the bond-buying program was ultimately a mixed bag. He said that the purchases of Treasury and mortgage-backed securities did help lift asset prices and lower borrowing costs. But it didn’t do much for the real economy.
“Effective demand is dead in the water” and the effort to boost it via bond buying “has not worked,” said Mr. Greenspan. Boosting asset prices, however, has been “a terrific success.”

I guess it becomes a matter of opinion in such matters....the department thinks it was appropriate. HOWEVER, according to the department, soon after deputies started counting the items on the property, Roger Hoeppner came out of the house. When staff tried to calm him, he got "pushy" and tried bowling past them. At that point, a lieutenant decided to handcuff him and put him in the back of a squad car. On the way to the jail, Hoeppner agreed to pay the judgment, at which point officers left the property without seizing anything.
So all that firepower....just to leave the property without seizing anything after a simple promise to pay??
It makes me question Marathon County's statement. If all you needed was a simple promise to pay....why do you need a humvee and 24 dudes?

"We're in a day when a person can commit about 15,000 bank robberies sitting in their basement," said Robert Anderson, executive assistant director of the FBI's Criminal Cyber Response and Services Branch.
The U.S. financial sector is one of the most targeted in the world, FBI and Secret Service officials told business leaders at a cybersecurity event organized by the Financial Services Roundtable. The event came in the wake of mass hacking attacks against Target, Home Depot, JPMorgan Chase and other financial institutions.
"You're going to be hacked," Joseph Demarest, assistant director of the FBI's cyberdivision, told the business leaders. "Have a plan."

Just think....
If God and Satan actually at one point in history had the same exact goal? The almighty and His archetype actually, for different reasons, want to accomplish the same thing? The Most High actually gives Satan the green light for something to take place because God so decrees it and not because Satan wishes to tempt/ruin man as was the case with Job?
There have been few instances, if any, where it would appear God and Satan actually desire the same thing. After all, the two are direct opposites. How can there be communion between Light and Darkness?

Consider the following verses:

They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to hand over to the beast their royal authority, until God’s words are fulfilled. 18 The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”
The beast is a representative of Satan. He and the ten horns will hate the prostitute and do away with her. It is their desire. She is in the way of a socialist world government.

pay her back double for what she has done.
Pour her a double portion from her own cup.

To illustrate just how devastating the effects can be on the economy when people lose trust in the belief that it is safe to go out in public, let’s take a look at the immediate reaction from the citizens of Dallas when only one Ebola case, Thomas Duncan, surfaced in the city.
When it was announced that Thomas Duncan had contact with some Dallas school children, we saw the immediate impact as Dallas moms began to keep their children home from school. Officials in Louisiana refused to receive Thomas Duncan’s property. Subsequently, and according to the AP and Veolia North America, Duncan’s effects were disposed of in drums taken from a Dallas apartment where Duncan became ill and were burned at the company’s incinerator in Port Arthur., TX.
It does not matter what I write or what someone broadcasts on their talk show about Ebola, once people perceive there is a threat, even a low-level threat posed by someone like Thomas Duncan, the people will panic. Rationality will not be part of the decision making process. Fear will take over. How long would police, fire, EMT personnel, hospital personnel, people that service our water supplies and the doctors that service our infirm, stay on the job following an Ebola outbreak? An examination of this question, by using Hurricane Katrina, as a comparison, tells us that by the third day, virtually all essential services would be seriously compromised because of personnel defections. In this scenario, how would chronically ill people receive their medications? How would people get emergency appendectomies or other emergency medical procedures? There will be no “911, what’s your emergency”? The factors that bind society together will quickly unravel as Ebola spreads even on a relatively low level of impact.

There are two dominant theories related to
the present Ebola crisis. One theory states that the media and certain
government sponsored agencies such as the CDC, NIH and the FDA are
hyping the Ebola crisis to promote the roll-out of mandatory vaccines.
This notion promotes the belief that Ebola will not impact that many
people but the fear being promoted will drive people to help people like
Bill Gates make a fortune from the inevitable vaccines that will

If government officials believe that you have the virus, federal law allows them to round you up and detain you “for such time and in such manner as may be reasonably necessary.” In addition, the CDC already has the authority to quarantine healthy Americans if they reasonably believe that they may become sick. During an outbreak, the government can force you to remain isolated in your own home, or the government may forcibly take you to a treatment facility, a tent city, a sports stadium, an old military base or a camp. You would not have any choice in the matter. And you would be forced to endure any medical procedure mandated by the government. That includes shots, vaccines and the drawing of blood. During such a scenario, you can scream about your “rights” all that you want, but it won’t do any good.
In case you are tempted to think that I am making this up, I want you to read what federal law actually says. The following is 42 U.S.C. 264(d). I have added bold for emphasis…
(1) Regulations prescribed under this section may provide for the apprehension and examination of any individual reasonably believed to be infected with a communicable disease in a qualifying stage and (A) to be moving or about to move from a State to another State; or (B) to be a probable source of infection to individuals who, while infected with such disease in a qualifying stage, will be moving from a State to another State. Such regulations may provide that if upon examination any such individual is found to be infected, he may be detained for such time and in such manner as may be reasonably necessary.
